What personal data vectorexpert.com collects, why, who handles it for us, and how to reach us about it. Last updated 12 October 2026.
Who we are
VectorExpert (Aerospace Park, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India) makes CivilSurvey Expert and runs this website. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here. What we collect, and why

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
These providers process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us. Some of them store or process data outside India.
- Hostinger: hosts this website and its server logs.
- Resend: delivers the form to our email inbox.
- Google: Google Sheets, where we keep the list of requests, and Google Analytics.
- WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to message us there.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details while we are in touch with you and for our business records, and delete them when they are no longer needed or when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
- have it corrected, completed or updated;
- have it erased, and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before);
- nominate someone to act for you if you die or cannot act yourself;
- complain to us, and if we do not resolve it, to the Data Protection Board of India.
Write to mail@vectorexpert.com from the address or number you gave us, or tell us how to confirm it is you. We reply within 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga to tell visits apart. The site works without them: you can block or delete cookies in your browser, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Fonts are served from this site, not from third parties.
Children
This site is for engineering professionals. It is not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the form settings are kept off the public website, and access to our inbox and request list is limited to our team.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
